I’m Sophia Almeida, a graphic designer and artist based in Los Angeles.

My work is rooted in visual storytelling: combining illustration, typography, and bold color to create designs that feel expressive and culturally grounded.

I grew up between Los Angeles and Guadalajara, Mexico, where folk traditions, street murals, music, and the vibrant visual culture of everyday life shaped my love for art. These early influences continue to guide my creative approach today.

After studying Graphic Design in Guadalajara, I returned to California and completed an internship with artist and ceramist Lorien Stern in the Mojave Desert. That experience deepened my understanding of art as both a craft and a way of life.

Since 2020, I’ve worked as an independent designer collaborating with many small businesses, artists, food brands, and community-driven projects.

I enjoy working with people who care deeply about what they create, helping translate their ideas into visuals that feel authentic, memorable, and purposeful.
